Candidates should possess 8+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering or a related role, such as site reliability engineering, and 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams. They should be passionate about building secure, scalable multi-tenant platforms and have extensive experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure. Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is required, along with deep experience in multi-tenant architectures and tenant isolation. Additionally, candidates must be able to write clean, maintainable code in languages such as Python or Go, and possess a strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
The Cloud Platform Engineer will establish and lead the cloud platform team, architecting and implementing multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure regions. They will design and build highly scalable, distributed systems for multi-tenant workloads, define and implement best practices for automated infrastructure, and architect tenant isolation mechanisms. Responsibilities also include creating and managing environment lifecycle automation, designing and implementing cross-region capabilities and active-active deployments, developing tenant migration and pod management solutions, collaborating with development teams, monitoring and optimizing tenant isolation and security, documenting processes, and participating in on-call rotation. Furthermore, they will mentor and grow the cloud platform team, implement and maintain deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines, and drive infrastructure cost optimization.
