Position Overview

As a Cloud/Infrastructure Architect, you will provide architecture leadership across multiple infrastructure teams. You will collaborate with IT and Application/Development teams to define their architecture roadmaps, solution architectures, detailed designs, and hands-on engineering and development. This role may also involve vendor relationship management, product evaluations, strategic platform planning, and ensuring alignment with overall DevOps and Cloud strategy.


Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior IT and Business Managers to define the strategic roadmap.
  • Support infrastructure and development teams in their system endeavors.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Enterprise Architecture teams on technologies and approaches.
  • Participate in Proof-of-Concept work to evaluate platforms and capabilities.
  • Lead teams through the initial stages of a program and assist through the execution phase.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressively more responsible work experience in a technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in designing and engineering large-scale enterprise solutions in a technical engineering lead, solution architecture, application architecture, or enterprise architecture role.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Cloud/Infrastructure performance analysis and tuning.
