Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certificates in Cloud Architecture
5+ years of experience as a Technical lead, Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect
8+ years of experience in IT with hands-on experience in developing software code
Proven experience in cloud architecture (AWS primary, Azure, or GCP) with emphasis on networking, security, and storage
Hands-on experience developing Infrastructure Provisioning Pipeline using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Understanding of cloud network paradigms using IaC
Strong understanding of Landing Zone frameworks and Cloud Operating Models
Hands-on expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep)
Familiarity with compliance and security standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent
Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid architectures
Knowledge of automation and DevSecOps practices

Responsibilities

Design and deploy multi-account landing zones following best practices for governance, compliance, and automation
Implement identity and access management, guardrails, and policy enforcement
Create High Availability zones for DR in various cloud regions with optimal spend
Architect secure network topologies, including VPC design, segmentation, and connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)
Define and enforce security controls, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO)
Integrate cloud-native security services and third-party tools for threat detection and response
Design scalable storage solutions (object, block, and file storage) optimized for performance and cost
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and data lifecycle management strategies
Partner with application, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration
Contribute to cloud operating models and governance frameworks
