Networking knowledge: Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, VPN, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPCs, subnets, security groups, network ACLs, gateways, VPC peering
Security and compliance skills: Native security solutions, continuous compliance monitoring, Key Management Service (KMS), security policies, control policies
Backup and disaster recovery knowledge: DRP, replication strategies for IaaS and PaaS, multi-region architectures, DRP documentation
Differentiator skills: AI/ML Services, Analytics & Big Data, IoT, Edge Computing, VMWare on Cloud, Hybrid Cloud
Automation and DevOps: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with native tools and Terraform, serverless automation, workflow orchestration, PowerShell scripting

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and support (troubleshoot) cloud components: Computing (VMs/IaaS), Containers, Serverless, Storage (Object/Block), PaaS Databases (SQL/NoSQL), Load Balancing, Cost Management, CDN, API Management
Implement/integrate monitoring and diagnostics with native tools and external tools
Leverage IaC with native tools and Terraform; use serverless automation and orchestrate workflows
Improve team efficiency and environment through automation
Deploy solutions according to best practices and business requirements
Manage identity services using native IAM, SSO, MFA, and RBAC
Configure VPCs, subnets, security groups, network ACLs; manage VPNs, gateways, direct CSP-on-prem communication, VPC peering for secure connectivity
Leverage native firewall solutions and Load Balancers for network security and traffic management
Deploy native security solutions for continuous compliance monitoring; manage keys/secrets with KMS, apply security and control policies
Administer backups and design disaster recovery strategies using multi-region architectures
Develop PowerShell and Terraform scripts for process/activity automation in Azure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cloud operations and address complex challenges
