Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma, and a preference for Medical Assistant or CNA certification. They should have at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, along with basic working knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to maintain full confidentiality and compliance with sensitive medical information, including HIPAA and PHI.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Support Specialist will assist patients by offering education related to their behavioral health visits, provide technical support for telehealth visits, support clinicians by accessing vitals and data from the EMR, procure patient referral documents, act as a liaison between clinicians and staff, maintain equipment, complete assigned BHI cases by gathering information from medical records and entering it into the company’s BHI system, provide assistance to assigned clinicians by accessing the facility’s EMR and recording data into the EHR system, and work closely with clinicians to ensure smooth and efficient patient visits.
