Requirements

Field-based role supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in Bay Area/Sacramento
Expertise in vessel closure products, including small and large bore arterial, venous, and future releases
Focus on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff
Ability to meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, hospital personnel) to identify needs and demonstrate products
Capability to develop relationships, make new contacts, and identify key decision makers in hospitals
Proficiency in providing clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Skills in educating customers via presentations and demonstrations using various formats (e.g., slides, manuals)
Experience attending clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room
Ability to respond to customer needs and complaints with creative solutions

Responsibilities

Serve as technical procedure and product expert for case coverage in hospital settings
Provide case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through in designated territory and region
Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers
Assist in achieving sales goals, increasing sales revenues, and market share for assigned product lines, with heavy focus on Vessel Closure
Meet with customers to discuss clinical needs, goals, constraints, and how products address them
Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers
Act as primary resource for clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
Educate customers on product merits, usage, latest developments, and industry updates via presentations and demonstrations
Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success
Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with others
