Position Overview

K Health is seeking a mission-driven Clinical Operations Specialist (LPN) to support our virtual clinics and provide a best-in-class patient experience. This role is crucial in our transition to a comprehensive care delivery model, aiming to revolutionize patient care. You will report directly to our Practice Manager and partner closely with Medical Operations teams to support daily operations across multiple clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and develop clinical workflows to enhance both clinician and patient experiences.
  • Develop mastery of EHR systems and internal tools to create best-in-class clinical workflows and processes.
  • Receive, monitor, and analyze incoming lab results daily, following appropriate escalation procedures.
  • Collaborate with key external vendors and suppliers to facilitate the delivery of lab and imaging services.
  • Monitor clinic phone lines, handling calls from patients, clinicians, labs, and pharmacies.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacy, insurance, and enterprise partners to resolve escalated patient or partner issues.
  • Perform on-call shifts to monitor the Critical Lab Phone Line (24/7).
  • Prepare prior authorization requests.
  • Efficiently process and send EMR Requests.
  • Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in CT.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations.
  • Comfortable with and willing to work a flexible schedule.
  • Experience in telemedicine.
  • Experience with Epic EMR and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Extremely well-organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Ability to naturally prioritize work and manage varying deadlines.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working within a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment and setting priorities with minimal management input.
