Requirements

  • Located in AZ, HI, TX, IL, FL, or PA
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of residence
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D
  • 1+ years in Retail, LTC, Hospital, or PBM pharmacy experience, or other pharmacist-to-patient consultation experience
  • Experience working with patients with chronic disease states, especially diabetes
  • Experience working as a pharmacist in a call center or other remote environment
  • Adequate home internet required (high speed preferred; minimum 50 mb/sec download and 5 mb/sec upload)

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consultation to targeted members regarding supported disease states via outbound (and inbound) calls to patients
  • Educate patients on new therapies
  • Partner with patients to address non-adherence issues
  • Work with patients and prescribers to assess need for supplemental medications based on patient needs and disease state
  • Collaborate closely with patients' prescribers, other Pharmacy Advisor staff, and CVS Caremark departments to resolve patient issues
  • Complete internal disease-specific training, including behavioral modification and interviewing skills
  • Utilize clinical and behavioral skills to positively impact patient health outcomes
  • Work in a fast-paced call center environment and contribute to development/refinement of work systems, tools, processes, and procedures
