Requirements

2+ years clinical pharmacist experience in managed care (PBM) pharmacy setting and/or completion of managed care residency
Active pharmacist license that is in good standing
Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and leverage MS Excel and/or MS Access, as well as other data analytics tools and platforms
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
Demonstrated ability to recognize problems and/or issues and engage team to bring to resolution
Demonstrated understanding of formulary management and utilization management
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (required)
Registered Pharmacist (required)
Candidate must reside in commutable distance to Buffalo Grove, IL, Pittsburgh, PA or Scottsdale, AZ office locations

Responsibilities

Engage within the Medical Affairs - Medicare Formulary Administration team to support the creation and maintenance of CVS Caremark’s standard and client-modified Medicare formularies and utilization management edits
Support the immediate team, Clinical Advisors and other teams to prepare CMS formulary files and formulary drug lists
Work with the team to provide direction to internal partners to implement utilization management related processes, projects, and requests
