Candidates must possess a minimum of three years’ clinical experience on this or related jobs in a hospital or healthcare facility, a minimum of one year of Home Health and/or Hospice experience, current licensure to practice by the state, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance. Prior educational/training experience is preferred.
The Clinical Field Educator will assess new field clinicians’ skills and knowledge, facilitate performance-based learning pathways, coach field clinicians on the fundamentals of the position, customize learning paths and create remediation plans, document clinician progression and needs, manage preceptor assignments, conduct orientation calls, support preceptors, evaluate clinician readiness, conduct clinical skill checks, review and update competency checklists, identify clinicians needing support, develop remediation plans, document support provided, and evaluate learning needs. They will also submit documentation of performance concerns and coordinate caseload development during the 8-week orientation.
