Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, and an Associate degree in nursing or a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program with an active nursing license in the state where they reside. They must also have 5 years of experience working with health insurance brokerages, TPAs, or health data analytics platforms focused on employer health plan reporting, along with familiarity with predictive modeling, risk stratification, or benchmarking methodologies, and working knowledge of healthcare billing codes (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) and HEDIS measures.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Data Analyst will extract, validate, and analyze healthcare data to assess trends, cost drivers, and clinical outcomes, perform detailed clinical reviews of high-cost claimants to evaluate ongoing treatment, exposure, and liability for financial forecasting and risk management, conduct data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity across platforms and internal reporting systems, support data-driven strategies for care management, population health initiatives, and employer health plan optimization, collaborate with internal stakeholders, clinicians, and consultants to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights, and use health analytics platforms (e.g., Artemis, Springbuk, Innovu) to identify cost containment opportunities and track key performance metrics.
