Requirements

  • Background in client service, particularly with advisor transitions or conversion management
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial products including SMAs, 529s, and alternative investments
  • Experience with and knowledge of standard operational aspects of wealth management client service with custodians such as Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple competing tasks

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the end-to-end client transition process, including processing and validating new account opening documentation, account transfers (ACATs and non-ACATs), and complex asset movements
  • Coordinate effectively with external partners such as custodians and third-party vendors to ensure seamless and timely completion of all transition activities
  • Monitor and maintain a detailed transition pipeline, proactively tracking progress, identifying potential roadblocks or risk situations, and reporting status updates to both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the transition phase, providing exceptional service and ensuring all documentation requirements are clearly communicated and met
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail to resolve documentation discrepancies, troubleshoot transfer issues, and reconcile custodian data, ensuring data integrity across all systems
  • Demonstrate a highly organized and results-oriented approach, with a proven ability to manage multiple competing client transitions and priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment, consistently acting with a client-first mindset to ensure a smooth, positive, and professional experience for every new client
