  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
  • 1+ years prior work experience or transferable skills preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • PC skills with MS Office Suite experience (Excel/Outlook/Teams/SharePoint required)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of MFD (multi-function device) equipment
  • Knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures and ability to comprehend instructions
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects
  • Ability to determine correct method and packing material as well as validate packing slips for accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of mailroom, shipping & receiving procedures a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Current knowledge of computer-based systems required for position functions
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to adhere to all policies and procedures
  • Ability to work assigned work hours determined by manager
  • Physical demands: fine/gross motor skills, ability to grasp, lift/carry/move packages on wheeled cart (60 lbs capacity), lift 20-40 lbs or greater frequently, walk, bend, kneel, stand (approximately 100% of time)

Responsibilities

  • Provide 5-star customer service to all employees (in all forms of communication)
  • Receive inbound mail/packages, sort incoming mail, and input into chain of custody software
  • Manage outgoing mail/package transactions
  • Perform duties associated with shipping and receiving of materials
  • Notify employees upon receipt of inbound deliveries
  • Distribute mail/packages to company personnel
  • Act as point of contact for company personnel on mail/package inquiries
  • Perform daily key ops of convenience multi-function devices (ensure functionality, replenish toner/paper)
  • Submit work orders for certain requests
  • Maintain the Mail Center area in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Monitor level of mail and shipping supplies throughout the Austin Campus
  • Assist with copy/print orders and/or monitor copy/print equipment for functionality
  • Assist with daily data entry/label creation work
  • Proactively seek out additional work during downtime
  • Build professional relationships with customers and other teams
  • Maintain professionalism and composure when interacting with all employees
  • Determine what additional support is needed when handling sensitive inquiries
  • Provide reception or concierge (front of office) coverage as needed
  • Process inbound/outbound mail, distribute/deliver mail
  • Handle shipping and receiving of product and supplies to support onsite business service center
  • Replenish/organize/order office supplies (pens, paper, toner)
  • Ensure copy/print machines are functional and stocked
  • Serve as backup to front of office (reception/concierge)
  • Offer highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining professional image through prompt, courteous, efficient service
