Candidates should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the financial services/investment management industry, and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with advanced skills for exporting and merging information into documents, along with experience with CRM software (Practifi/Salesforce experience is preferred) and electronic document repositories is required. Strong business English skills, including composition, spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and the demonstrated ability to efficiently compose and prepare correspondence and documents are essential.
The Client Relationship Associate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns while demonstrating a client-first attitude. They will assist with all facets of new client onboarding, including opening accounts, establishing client portal access, and managing account transfers and documents. The role involves managing client information within the CRM, maintaining clients’ profiles, and establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients. The associate will resolve and troubleshoot client issues promptly, inform clients about new products and services, and actively work to meet and anticipate the needs of the Advisors and clients they support. Handling distribution and money movement requests, serving as a liaison between client, custodian, and investment managers, as well as third parties, and scheduling and organizing client meetings for Advisors are also key responsibilities. Utilizing compliance software, working with internal teams to ensure client needs are met, adhering to all regulations and policies, and working independently to complete tasks efficiently with attention to detail are crucial aspects of the position.
