Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • No previous experience required (up to 6 months in manufacturing/production preferred; clean room experience a plus)
  • Ability to read and act on written and oral instructions
  • Strong attention to detail consistent with extreme quality standards
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; adept at working well with various functional groups
  • Ability to lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
  • Ability to use PPE and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS
  • Flexibility/willingness to adapt to operational needs
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Capacity to operate in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom setting with overtime as needed
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards and cleanroom protocols (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

Responsibilities

  • Work safely following all safety requirements
  • Adhere to work instruction documents, standard operating procedures, detailed instructions, blueprints, and drawings for manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of Bioprocess Containers in a clean room
  • Handle materials and operate equipment
  • Record accurate documentation in Production Control Documents
  • Inspect in-process and finished products, package them, and pull from archives for product sampling
  • Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean, Continuous Improvement, and 5S activities
  • Assist in training co-workers
  • Other duties as assigned
