  • High School Diploma completed
  • 2+ years of life insurance death claims business experience (mandatory)
  • Death claims processing experience (mandatory)
  • Working knowledge of life insurance products and applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Microsoft Office and MS Teams work experience
  • Great typing and documenting skills
  • Empathy, sensibility, and high sense of touch
  • Inbound/outbound customer service experience, communication skills, and phone etiquette
  • Great ability to multitask between client applications and DXC systems

Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures to process death claim transactions by corresponding with agents, beneficiaries, and other departments regarding policies
  • Learn new payment processes and/or other processes within death claims as needed
  • Accurately handle and timely execute any policy worked
  • Ensure transactions are processed accurately on administrative systems within Genworth Financial guidelines
  • Report any potential fraudulent, money laundering, or unethical requests reviewed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required daily
  • Provide elite customer service experience via letters or phone calls internally or externally
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience
