2-5 years of similar work experience

Experience with natural gas or other utilities (preferred)
Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D (preferred)
Experience with engineering-based programs (e.g., GasCalc, Pipeline Toolbox, BoreAid, or similar) (preferred)

Responsibilities

Design various natural gas projects including distribution mains, transmission pipelines, metering & regulating facilities, and launcher/receiver assemblies
Perform civil site design, trenchless installation design, utility conflict analysis, and traffic control plan design
Prepare design reports and construction plans using client, local, state, or other applicable standards
Coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
Document design changes and communications
Conduct on-site observations as needed
Prepare project status and other reports
Assist in the preparation of proposals
Assist Project Managers as needed
Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings (including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc.)
Attend seminars and/or training classes
Maintain excellent client relations
Maintain a safe working environment
