Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in electrical, computer engineering, or computer science, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. They should have experience with integrated circuit design tools such as Synopsys/Cadence, including logic synthesis, place and route, static timing analysis, and design closure, along with experience in PV convergence, static timing and power analysis, chip physical design verification, and expertise in timing closure and ECO flows.

Responsibilities

The Chiplet Physical Design Engineer will be responsible for synthesis and place and route using industry standard tools for high-speed CPU core design, performing all aspects of the design flow from logic synthesis to design closure, developing and recommending better design methodologies to enable better timing convergence, conducting PV convergence, performing chip physical design verification including formal equivalence, timing, electrical rules, DRC/LVS, noise, and electro-migration checks, and scripting in an interpreted language, with a minimum proficiency in TCL and at least one additional scripting language.
