  • Possess IT expertise but primarily engaged in manufacturing work
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policies/strategies
  • Possess knowledge of best practices and understand how one's field integrates with others; understand competition and market differentiators
  • Demonstrate judgment and ability to propose alternative solutions outside set parameters to handle more complex manufacturing processes with technical diversity and/or interdependencies
  • Utilize technical experience and analytical thinking
  • Use various internal resources and limited external resources outside one's own team to aid decision-making
  • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues
  • May lead small projects with low risk and resource demands
  • Explain information; cultivate skills to build consensus among team members on field-related topics
