Requirements

  • Innovative and highly motivated leader capable of architecting and scaling a global supply chain for robotic cell-therapy manufacturing platform, including capital equipment and consumable kits
  • Experience reporting to CEO and providing updates to CEO and Board on supply chain strategy
  • Expertise in building and managing networks of domestic and international suppliers (US, EU, APAC) aligned with quality, cost, and capacity requirements
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with supply chain and procurement teams at large customer accounts, including executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven skills in supplier management, including audits in partnership with Quality and Regulatory for compliance with ISO 9001 and other regulations
  • Experience leading supplier negotiations on pricing, warranties, terms, and managing supplier agreements
  • Capability to drive supplier selection processes and develop projections for suppliers
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering on design transfer from R&D to production, including documentation, specifications, manufacturability, test strategy, and acceptance criteria
  • Knowledge of facilitating supplier input for DFM, DFA, and cost targets during early design phases
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering leadership on build processes and manufacturing workflows
  • Partnership experience with Finance, Product, and Leadership on pricing strategies
  • Ownership of system-level COGS and consumable COGS targets with plans for continuous margin improvement
  • Expertise in developing strategies for robot installation, service, field support, maintenance workflows, and spare parts
  • Experience building and overseeing a Service organization
  • Skills in owning robotic system warranty and service strategy for COTS and non-COTS parts, and negotiating warranty terms

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategy across robots, consumables, and field-replaceable units, ensuring scalability from first-customer deployments through global commercialization
  • Act as the company’s executive supply chain leader, providing regular updates to the CEO and Board while guiding long-term supply chain strategy
  • Build and manage a network of domestic and international suppliers (US, EU, and APAC) aligned with quality, cost, and capacity requirements
  • Foster strong relationships with supply chain and procurement teams at large customer accounts, including executive-level stakeholders
  • Lead supplier management activities ensuring quality, cost, timeline, and scalability requirements
  • Oversee supplier audits in partnership with Quality and Regulatory to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable regulations
  • Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, warranties, and terms and manage supplier agreements
  • Drive supplier selection processes and collaborate to develop projections for each supplier
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering to manage timely design transfer from R&D to production—including documentation, specifications, manufacturability, test strategy, and acceptance criteria
