Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and long-term goals
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure budgetary compliance throughout the fiscal year
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the CEO and Board of Directors
  • Oversee all financial transactions of the organization
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential financial risks
  • Ensure proper financial controls and procedures are in place to safeguard assets and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage the organization's investment portfolio to optimize returns while maintaining a prudent risk profile
  • Develop and execute cash management strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations and future initiatives
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements
  • Oversee all financial audits
  • Present financial reports and updates to the Board of Directors, assisting them in understanding financial data and making informed decisions
  • Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
  • Monitor insurance coverage and recommend adjustments as necessary
