Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and long-term goals
Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure budgetary compliance throughout the fiscal year
Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the CEO and Board of Directors
Oversee all financial transactions of the organization
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential financial risks
Ensure proper financial controls and procedures are in place to safeguard assets and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage the organization's investment portfolio to optimize returns while maintaining a prudent risk profile
Develop and execute cash management strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations and future initiatives
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements
Oversee all financial audits
Present financial reports and updates to the Board of Directors, assisting them in understanding financial data and making informed decisions
Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
Monitor insurance coverage and recommend adjustments as necessary
Oversee the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication
