Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in Machine Learning, particularly in transformers and LLMs, and/or in computer vision for scene reconstruction (digital twins). They should have knowledge of CNNs, autoencoders, and other common computer vision architectures, along with experience in training large models and in distributed ML systems. Prior research experience (MSc/PhD or equivalent industrial experience) or engineering experience at the intersection of AI and computer vision is a significant asset, and quantifiable prior experience in deploying software solutions is beneficial.
Responsibilities
As a founding technical leader, the researcher will develop a strong technical foundation for creating interactive digital environments, facilitating real-world-to-simulated-to-real ML pipelines. They will design and prototype MVP demonstrating private training and inference with large models, conduct research with early customers to identify urgent and underserved needs in computer vision, collaborate with the venture capital team to define the initial go-to-market strategy and fundraising plan, and build and lead a founding technical team.
