Requirements

Candidates must possess an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in Ohio, Arizona, or Florida and be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or through ExCPT. Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a pharmacy-related call center setting is required. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with moderate working knowledge of Excel. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of RxNova, CRM, or ScriptMed, and experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously with strong data entry skills. The role requires a dedicated workspace free from interruptions to protect sensitive information, and a reliable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

Responsibilities

The Certified Pharmacy Technician will support Pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of Specialty Rx medications. This includes taking inbound phone calls from patients and providers, entering prescription orders into the system, and ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx operational processes and programs. The role involves effective communication with patients and providers to optimize health outcomes, performing computations, and handling varied administrative and operational assignments with some latitude for prioritization and timing.
