Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid state Home Health Aide & Nursing Assistant Certification (CHHA & CNA), demonstrate empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and impaired, and hold current BLS & CPR certification. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are also required, along with self-directing abilities and the capacity to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) will provide personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, and changing bed linen, assist patients with dressing and undressing, perform skin care to prevent breakdown, and aid in toileting activities. They will also assist patients in self-administration of medication, maintain a clean and orderly living area, adhere to organizational documentation and care procedures, and meet productivity expectations as determined by business need.
