Requirements

  • High school diploma with appropriate industry experience (Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required)
  • Prior experience in GMP and lab-scale manufacturing, including validation and quality systems (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with cell/gene therapy, including working with human cells, cell characterization methods, sorting, and analyzing cells (nice-to-have)
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time in a biosafety cabinet/cleanroom environment
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gown
  • Ability to follow cleanroom protocols (no cosmetics, jewelry, etc.)
  • Occasional ability to ascend/descend stairs within the workspace
  • Availability for 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
  • Onsite work in Sacramento, CA

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor equipment used in the production of cell therapy products
  • Follow and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records
  • Use medical grade machinery
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good documentation practices
  • Participate and communicate effectively in a clean room manufacturing environment
  • Perform instrument set-up, cleaning, change over, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation
