Requirements
- High school diploma with appropriate industry experience (Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in GMP and lab-scale manufacturing, including validation and quality systems (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with cell/gene therapy, including working with human cells, cell characterization methods, sorting, and analyzing cells (nice-to-have)
- Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time in a biosafety cabinet/cleanroom environment
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gown
- Ability to follow cleanroom protocols (no cosmetics, jewelry, etc.)
- Occasional ability to ascend/descend stairs within the workspace
- Availability for 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
- Onsite work in Sacramento, CA
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor equipment used in the production of cell therapy products
- Follow and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records
- Use medical grade machinery
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good documentation practices
- Participate and communicate effectively in a clean room manufacturing environment
- Perform instrument set-up, cleaning, change over, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation
