Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Supply chain or Procurement of indirect services
  • Experience in managing sourcing projects across different markets around the globe
  • Exposure in sourcing services across different business areas (e.g. Tax, IT, Manufacturing, HR, Engineering etc)
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization with various functional stakeholders and across various Regions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and capable of delivering within deadlines
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in a geographically dispersed team
  • Solid Technical/Commercial/Financial knowledge to operate intelligently and persuasively with suppliers, business line and engineering leadership
  • Superior oral and written communication & selling skills
  • Fully competent with MS suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc); Tableau experience would be advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage RFx events, supplier evaluations, negotiations, supplier selection and recommendations for deals within your scope
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for all engagements
  • Ensure full compliance with SCM policy and procedures in Aptiv for all sourcing events
  • Act as escalation point for relationship of Suppliers and stakeholders
  • Analyze category spend regularly and identify opportunities to achieve cost savings/avoidance
  • Perform market analysis within the managed category
  • Prepare reports, documentation to support initiative tracking
  • Establish and maintain close relationship with internal and external stakeholders
