Responsibilities

Collects and reads store orders that include item location, descriptions, and quantity
Gathers the required cases of merchandise and transfers cases to pallets or conveyers using safe lifting techniques
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by following safety guidelines
Performs general housekeeping to ensure working area and aisles are clear of debris
Participates in training for other warehouse duties
Carries out area strategy to maintain performance metric standards
Handles the picking of merchandise cases for stores
Maintains established metrics for accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders
Ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures
Performs other duties as requested by the department lead/supervisor and/or manager
