Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Collects and reads store orders that include item location, descriptions, and quantity
  • Gathers the required cases of merchandise and transfers cases to pallets or conveyers using safe lifting techniques
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by following safety guidelines
  • Performs general housekeeping to ensure working area and aisles are clear of debris
  • Participates in training for other warehouse duties
  • Carries out area strategy to maintain performance metric standards
  • Handles the picking of merchandise cases for stores
  • Maintains established metrics for accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders
  • Ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as requested by the department lead/supervisor and/or manager
