Candidates must possess a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) or Certified Cardiac Interventionist (CCI) certification, along with an accredited 2-year degree in an Allied Health/Nursing program or a comparable recognized and accredited program in Ultrasound Technology. A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Cardiac Technologist is required, and knowledge of Studycast is preferred.
The Cardiac Sonographer will independently perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms, ensuring exams are conducted efficiently and accurately while following established protocols. They will attend monthly team meetings and occasional educational sessions, travel to multiple locations to perform ultrasounds onsite, and provide excellent customer service and a positive bedside manner to patients. Furthermore, they will work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a forward-thinking and tech-savvy approach to cardiovascular care delivery.
