Responsibilities

  • Develop the technical capture strategy for proposals, ensuring solutions align with customer mission needs and company capabilities
  • Analyze mission requirements, customer objectives, and competitive landscape to develop innovative and compelling space solutions
  • Work closely with systems engineers, spacecraft engineers, and business development to define mission architectures
  • Generate and write technical content for proposals related to the company’s core products while supporting business development pursuits
  • Define and articulate technical approaches for spacecraft design, mission operations, and integration with launch vehicles
  • Ensure proposals meet RFP (Request for Proposal) and BAA (Broad Agency Announcement) requirements from customers
  • Coordinate with cross company to develop competitive and compliant technical volumes
  • Lead and participate in customer meetings and solution presentations to advocate for proposed technical concepts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and evaluators to improve win probability
  • Identify and assess technical risks in proposed space solutions, developing mitigation strategies to improve feasibility and competitiveness
  • Develop and maintain a library of past proposals, reusable technical content, and best practices for future space-related bids
  • Capture lessons learned from previous proposals and mission awards to continuously refine the capture process
