Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all levels including Store Management, Market Management, and Subject Matter Experts
  • Educate associates and managers on compliance programs
  • Monitor compliance controls in the facility
  • Identify root causes of compliance issues
  • Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
  • Deliver compliance and safety awareness leveraging Ethics and Compliance resources
  • Drive compliance improvement by conducting assessments across designated areas: Health & Safety/Fire Code; Environmental; Consumer Protection; Anti Money Laundering; Food Safety/Pest Control; Privacy & Employment; Licenses & Permits; Anti-Corruption
  • Deliver on-the-spot compliance training at all levels, including the Compliance portion of new associate orientation
  • Analyze data to identify program execution gaps/trends, root causes, and support creation/execution of action plans to mitigate risks
  • Participate in regulatory visits (except Health & Wellness and Human Resource related matters), including online submission and engaging partners for resolution of orders or fines
  • Execute and manage the hourly associate accident file process, including online submission, accident investigations, modified offer letters, and follow-up until resolution
  • Foster 2-way communication with Store Management for attendance management, progress note completion, and accountability
  • Assist with collection and verification of required items/documents for customer claim folders
  • Submit and follow up on Facilities Maintenance requests, including management of pest activity
  • Leverage and utilize escalation tools to resolve issues and outstanding tickets
  • Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member
  • Follow up on action items from Safety Team meeting notes and inspections
