Requirements

Associates Degree in related field or equivalent work experience highly preferred
Experience with red light camera or traffic control systems and environment preferred
High School Diploma, GED or higher or technical training certificate for using AutoCAD software
Minimum 3 years’ experience in drafting of construction and engineering drawings

Responsibilities

Prepare highly detailed drawings for approval for local municipalities throughout North America
Organize project drawings, specifications and other types of construction documents
Interface with engineering, field services and service transitions teams as required
Maintain database of drawings, details and engineering documents
Support the overall planning and development process of construction projects
Support or facilitate physical site surveys by gathering field measurements and requirements and interpret field data into digital plan sets for submittal
Support work with field technicians and/or external contractors during the construction and power phase of proposed installations and support completion of final record drawings that are accepted and implemented for camera installations
Provide administrative support reviewing permitting authority comments, aggregating those comments in a central location, and modifying plan sets to address all conditions received from permitting authorities
Perform quality assurance evaluation of completed drawings in light of the CRQ document drafted with the client to ensure full compliance with requirements and minimizing the number of resubmittals
