Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the pharmacy team by promoting best practices, coaching for performance improvement, onboarding new hires (Technicians and Pharmacists), and recognizing successes
  • Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails
  • Provide exceptional patient care through meaningful counseling, showing empathy, collaborating with healthcare teams, and proactively resolving issues
  • Offer and deliver immunizations, identify and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn immunization skills
  • Manage pharmacy inventory by following and coaching best practices, with focus on protecting cold chain products
  • Ensure full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, escalating issues as needed
  • Demonstrate genuine care, act as a role model, and cultivate a culture of excellence in the pharmacy
