Requirements

  • Excellent command of German (spoken and written)
  • Good proficiency in English
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Raw Materials and Finished Goods Inventory management including space allocation and planning
  • Maintain materials holding policies in line with customer and business objectives
  • Determine inventory policies to optimize revenue opportunities while minimizing excess and obsolescence exposure
  • Material requirements planning for selected products/suppliers and effective scheduling of responsible production areas
  • Place purchase orders & updates, manage call-offs and monitor vendor performance
  • Ensure all Oracle system messages are acted upon in a timely and efficient manner and all system data records are accurate and up to date
  • Manage vendors to ensure continuity of material supply in order to maintain uninterrupted production and in accordance with purchasing and inventory policies
  • Manage inventory levels in order to meet set inventory targets with the minimum risk of obsolescence
