Responsibilities

Purchase materials in accordance with Plexus management guidelines and customer contract terms regarding AVL adherence, unit price, quality, and delivery
Make tactical buying decisions for placement and management of all purchase orders, including order placement, rescheduling, cancellations, and timely resolution of non-conforming material, goods-in discrepancies, and invoice queries
Minimize inventory while maintaining adequate material to meet production plans
Initiate appropriate corrective actions and escalations to avoid impacting the production schedule
Collaboratively manage procurement automation processes, including optimizing, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity within automation systems to support efficient and accurate purchasing
Make tactical decisions on when to leverage automation versus request exceptions in procurement execution
