Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology field from a college or university, or comparable industry experience
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally in the payments or financial technology space
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams
Familiarity with payment gateway technologies and card payments processing
Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for managing Agile workflows and documentation
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
Problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues with attention to detail
Active listening and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and subject matter experts, to gather and define business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Work as part of an Agile delivery team, participating in Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and ensuring that all requirements outlined on product briefs and technical solutions are clearly documented and prioritised in the product backlog
Provide detailed system analysis, including process flow diagrams, data models, and system design documents that ensure technical teams fully understand business needs
Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the product manager and other team members
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, timelines, and expectations
Provide support in investigating and resolving issues that arise during development, testing, or production stages, ensuring timely and effective solutions are implemented
Support the QA team by validating system changes ensuring they meet the specified business requirements
Work with the team to identify process improvements and optimise ways of working within Agile and product-centric environments
Leverage knowledge of the card payments industry and payment gateway solutions to provide valuable insights and ensure solutions are compliant with industry standards, security regulations, and best practices
