Requirements

  • Understanding of Midstream operations across Terminals, Pipeline, Natural Gas/Natural Gas Liquids Services, Marine, Truck, and Rail
  • Collaboration skills with IT peers, Midstream business partners, Refining, and Corporate HES&S IT teams
  • Accountability for business results achieved through others, managing operational areas, processes, or programs
  • Proficiency in aligning product roadmaps with business strategy in enterprise and Oil & Gas industry contexts
  • Skills in technology-driven process improvements via cloud, cybersecurity, data governance, and digital transformation

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily operations of the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Oversees recruitment, development, retention, and performance to build strong talent
  • Plans and leads low- to medium-complexity IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Ensures availability, reliability, and security of technology systems
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and internal groups to identify needs, deliver solutions, and support business objectives
  • Leads end-to-end lifecycle of digital products and solutions—from ideation through delivery and support—orchestrating cross-functional collaboration
  • Champions continuous improvement and innovation using performance metrics and user feedback
  • Embeds practices for long-term sustainability, operational resilience, service excellence, and proactive risk management (cybersecurity, data integrity, regulatory compliance)
  • Aligns product roadmaps with business strategy and long-term objectives
  • Builds strong business partnerships to gather, prioritize, and translate requirements into actionable digital product roadmaps
  • Serves as a bridge between business units and IT delivery, translating needs, managing expectations, resolving issues, and fostering engagement
  • Oversees budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for cost-effective IT service delivery; makes strategic decisions on resource allocation and contracts
