Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, with over 6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Engineer. Proven expertise in complex data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and strong SQL skills, including optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and query tuning, are essential. Familiarity with Databricks and AWS technologies such as Redshift, Athena, S3, and EC2 is required, along with advanced Power BI knowledge including row-level security, paginated reports, dataflows, composite models, and deployment pipelines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

The Business Intelligence Engineer III will collaborate with business partners to gather data requirements, analyze data sources, and design insightful dashboards. Responsibilities include cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and integrity. The role involves building visually appealing and interactive Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making, monitoring and optimizing solutions for performance and scalability, and implementing standard data quality and security processes in collaboration with data governance. Additionally, the engineer will maintain detailed documentation of Power BI solutions and provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
