Business Data Analyst - Abbott Diabetes Care

Position Overview

Abbott Diabetes Care is seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting ADC Operations by building and maintaining data dashboards and leveraging advanced analytical tools to drive business insights. You will play a key part in helping people with diabetes lead healthier, happier lives by ensuring consistent and accurate glucose monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines for analyzing large datasets.
  • Identify patterns and relationships within data and present results in a cohesive, intuitive, and simple manner to functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D Teams, as well as worldwide Business Unit Teams, to define and fulfill data reporting requirements on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and formats, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
  • Solve complex data problems to deliver insights that help the organization achieve its goals.
  • Examine datasets and determine the best end-to-end analysis plan to address key business questions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for significant operational, process, or system-level product improvements for business partners.
  • Leverage data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create interactive and insightful dashboards.
  • Analyze, understand, and present solutions for complex business problems using statistical software like R or Python.
  • Assist in developing operational systems by technical teams, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical business partners, translating complex data findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Manage SQL databases for querying and data management.
  • Apply ETL processes to support data warehousing needs.
