Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Business Analyst to work on projects and topics focusing on Federal Reserve Regulatory Reporting.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Regulatory Reporting team and other teams to define requirements.
  • Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Prepare and present functional aspects of changes/evolutions to developers.
  • Draft detailed functional specifications/user stories for developers, in line with general specifications or lists of requirements provided by the project manager / Business Analysts.
  • Prepare the Business Requirement Document and update it based on requirements from Finance teams and technical requirements.
  • Responsible for the functional testing of development.
  • Develop test strategies in coordination with the business owner and IT.
  • Conduct continuous testing in the development environment for development monitoring.
  • Write unit test cases and functional test cases for system verification.
  • Follow user acceptance testing and coordinate prioritization with the project manager.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Knowledge of Axiom SL application is mandatory.
  • 10+ years as a Business Analyst in the Financial Industry.
  • Experience working on Federal Reserve Regulatory Reporting; previous experience with FR-2052A is preferred.
  • Technical experience to be comfortable with data models and hands-on with SQL.
  • Hands-on experience as a liaison function with end-users.
  • Thorough experience in functional testing and validation of development.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical skills in test methodology.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to analyze and summarize; self-sufficient and pro-active in sourcing information.
  • Knowledge of: Financial products, Regulatory reporting, Accounting, Back-office processes.
  • Proficiency in: SQL, XML, data warehouse.
  • Experience with Business Objects would be appreciated.
  • Experience with Axiom SL FR-2052A 6G module is a plus.
