Requirements

  • 2-7 years of experience (YOE) in a highly analytical role (typically 2-5 YOE for Principal Analyst L7, 4-7 YOE for Manager L8)
  • Proven ability to problem solve end-to-end: from framing the question and forming a hypothesis, to analyzing the data, to communicating and debating the answer with other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other tools (e.g., Tableau) for data analysis
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar quantitative field with a strong academic record
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience doing analytical work with credit cards or other consumer lending products
  • Experience in consulting
  • Experience helping scale a business in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL or Python

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of actionable strategies based on data-driven insights and model the expected financial impacts to improve underwriting & pricing strategies while ensuring customer success
  • Manage multiple projects and coach junior analysts on the team
  • Design and enhance the customer lifetime value (LTV) model to drive business growth
  • Present and communicate clear recommendations to senior leadership
  • Enable long-term growth by pushing forward our testing agenda to build insights into consumer behavior and invest in future growth
  • Drive cross-functional teams across product, data science, and engineering to bring strategies to market
