For B level: Minimum one (1) year relevant experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry
For A level: Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Building Maintenance Technician B or at least three (3) years equivalent experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
Electrician or HVAC license or CFC refrigerant certification preferred; must be willing to pursue the certification
PSO Building Maint Techs (Tulsa location): City of Tulsa 1st Class Engineer license required in lieu of testing
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, problem solving and communication skills
Ability to read, interpret, review, revise, and correct blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications and instructions
Ability to utilize a computer
Successfully pass the HireVue virtual job tryout - Building Maintenance
Willingness to work overtime, overnight travel, scheduled/unscheduled weekend and evening shifts, and respond to emergency call outs
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather
Physical demands: Constant standing; frequent walking; occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, squatting, kneeling; lifting/moving/carrying equipment up to and in excess of 50 lbs; work at heights
Responsibilities
Perform preventative/predictive maintenance on, troubleshoot, repair, install and operate HVAC-related equipment, emergency generators, and general building mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in accordance with industry standards and codes
Perform general building maintenance and repair related to drywall, masonry, painting, ceilings, roofing, tile, carpets, windows and other related items
Monitor the work of, communicate effectively with, and/or assist contractors engaged in maintenance, construction and operation activities; ensure compliance with contract terms, company safety, security, environmental and conduct rules
Perform general housekeeping duties, including assemble, move, repair, hang and adjust furniture, wall hangings, doors, windows and other office items; assist in snow removal, storm damage cleanup, lawn maintenance, spill cleanup, inventory management
Procure necessary quality parts and material in the most economical and accepted manner
Maintain records, including inspection documentation, and submit reports as required
Under limited supervision, perform skilled work involving the operation, maintenance, repair, alteration and additions to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems, building furnishings and site improvements
