Requirements

Experience in operational discipline and strong partnership with Corporate Finance
Ability to design, socialize, and enforce processes for investment discipline and technology budget integrity
Expertise in cost variance management, budget exception governance, capitalization practices (CapEx vs. OpEx), and financial data accuracy
Knowledge of workforce governance and alignment with strategy
Skills in leading strategic programs like Bill of IT implementation and FinOps dashboard creation
Capability to develop and deliver executive reporting

Responsibilities

Implement processes for continuous budget monitoring, proactive identification of potential overruns, and rapid intervention to ensure IT spending remains within tolerance levels (Cost Variance Management)
Define, document, and manage a clear, transparent workflow for reviewing and approving budget exceptions, requiring executive approval for non-strategic or out-of-policy spending (Budget Exception Governance)
Partner with Finance/Accounting to ensure accurate, auditable technology asset classification aligned with company and regulatory policies (Capitalization Alignment)
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all IT financial data reported (Financial Data Integrity)
Define, document, and manage workflows to align workforce execution with BT workforce strategy (Workforce Governance)
Lead design, development, and implementation of a Bill of IT framework to allocate and charge back technology costs, increasing accountability and efficiency (Bill of IT Implementation)
Define requirements and oversee creation of a FinOps dashboard for near real-time visibility into spending, utilization, optimization, and cost variance (FinOps Dashboard Creation)
Develop and deliver accurate executive reporting (Executive Reporting)
