Requirements

  • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate students or graduate students pursuing master’s or doctoral degree majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, UX Design, English, Business, Statistics, Sociology or related fields
  • Excellent in English and Chinese communication, both speaking and writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation, quick learner, strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months and 3+ days/week
  • Proven experience in marketing, branding and automotive industry is preferred
  • Technical understanding of market research (both qualitative and quantitative methodologies) preferred
  • Acute understanding of advertising and brand communication preferred
  • Passion for market research and interest in China automotive industry and consumer landscape

Responsibilities

  • Support in planning and execution of brand research with compliance to methodologies; coordinate cross-functionally with global and local teams
  • Develop sample plans, questionnaires, and support stimuli development and review process
  • On-site coordination with partners and vendors for research fielding, qualitative interviews, and workshops; support set-up and quality management
  • Support in ad hoc research in a tight timeframe; communicate key findings effectively with supervisor, team members, vendors and project stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze data to develop customer and market insights
  • Draft report with story-telling skills; optimize slide format
  • Support material preparation for board review
  • Deep dive into available databases and conduct desktop and secondary research
  • Independently perform secondary research with NCBS data
  • Independently perform secondary research with BTS/GBTS data
  • Independently perform desktop research and secondary data analysis for pre-launch clinics
