- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 5-8 years of vehicle design experience in the areas of body closures and mechanisms
- Knowledge of design considerations required; injection molding, die castings, stampings
- Proven communication and team building skills
- Broad knowledge of NHTSA/FMVSS requirements related to body closures
- Ability and desire to work in a fun and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of body closures and assemblies
- Develop and implement functional objectives to meet project performance targets
- Manage all aspects of exterior component development to meet project requirements including performance, cost, mass, timing, manufacturability, etc
- Collaborate between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements
