Position Overview

Dane Street, a national provider of Group Health Review services, is expanding its physician panel. We are offering opportunities for physicians seeking non-traditional work and supplemental income. This is a telework opportunity where you will provide medical necessity reviews for treatment requests and appeals of previously denied services.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Texas Medical License
• Active Practice
• Board Certified

Responsibilities

• Review medical necessity of treatment requests.
• Review medical necessity of previously denied services in appeals.
• Provide advisory-only opinions.

Work Details

• Compensation: Per-case basis.
• Time Commitment: Most reviews take an average of 10-15 minutes, allowing for several cases to be completed within an hour.
• Flexibility: As an independent consultant, you have schedule flexibility. You choose services and case types, dictate volume, and conduct work based on your scheduled availability.
• Workplace: Remote.
• No Doctor/Patient Relationship: No treatment is provided, and no doctor/patient relationship is established.

• Streamlined Case Flow: User-friendly work portal.
• Administrative Support: We facilitate all communication, organize and sort medical records, and support all administrative processes.
• Case Preparation: Cases are prepped extensively, and a chronological listing of medical records and treatment guidelines is provided in an easy, click-to-view format.
• Training: Initial training and an ongoing point of contact for questions are provided.
