Candidates must possess a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Psychology, Education, or Behavior Analysis, and at least three years of experience applying ABA principles in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, ethical guidelines, and BACB standards is essential, along with demonstrated experience in designing treatment plans, conducting behavior assessments, and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct behavior assessments to determine client needs, design and oversee ABA treatment programs, provide parent education and consultation, and problem-solve to help clients reach their potential. They will also supervise behavior technicians, ensuring reliable and faithful implementation of treatment plans, attend team meetings, conduct client outcomes reviews, provide family training, handle billing and documentation, and participate in regular meetings with other staff members. Additionally, the BCBA will motivate and mentor RBTs, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality client care.
