Requirements

Must adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies
Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds
Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50lbs occasionally
Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
Must clean up area at end of production shift, including sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas
Must have 6 months continuous employment in the last 18 months
Preferred: At least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture, or production experience
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Set up equipment in preparation for startup
Make precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield
Set up area with all needed equipment
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor, or Superintendent
Clean up area at end of production shift
