Requirements

  • BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA license preferred
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience
  • Experience with public companies, open-ended fund, the private asset industry, and/or retail fund preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong work ethic
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments
  • Strong time management skills
  • Commitment to excellence in work product and desire to learn and grow

Responsibilities

  • Primary Finance point of contact, coordinating communication and deliverables between internal and external teams related to strategic alliances with retail funds
  • Responsible for day-to-day activities related to the accounting and reporting for a newly created group
  • Work collaboratively across business units to aggregate and communicate information required for daily and monthly NAV strikes
  • Partner with others across the firm to prepare and deliver recurring reports, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Review and analyze financial data across multiple groups to maintain consistency and integrity
  • Manage reporting schedules, ensuring adherence to daily, weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines
  • Negotiate and define new reporting requirements with stakeholders
  • Responsible for preparation of quarterly close deliverables for BX reporting
  • Manage day-to-day activities of offshore team
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects
