Requirements

BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
CPA license preferred
4+ years of public accounting experience
Experience with public companies, open-ended fund, the private equity industry, and/or retail fund preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented with a strong work ethic
Ability to effectively multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments
Strong time management skills
Commitment to excellence in work product and desire to learn and grow

Responsibilities

Day-to-day activities related to the accounting and reporting of an open-ended private equity fund administered internally
Partner with others across the firm to strike NAV monthly
Work directly with internal and external teams on projects including validating corporate level activity, monthly subscription activity, promote calculations, management fee calculations, NAV allocations, liquidity forecasting, and corporate G&A
Manage day-to-day activities of offshore team
Assist with the review of the 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings
Responsible for quarterly close of BX deliverables
Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects
