Requirements

  • Expert product knowledge in Bioprocess Resins to support Account Managers with training and sales generation
  • Ability to evaluate customer processes to identify solutions, provide tools, information, and support for additional sales and new opportunities
  • Knowledge of bioprocessing technologies beyond Resins to contribute to sales activities
  • High-level technical expertise for pre-sales discussions, product demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events
  • Capability to lead technical and process-related discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts, including troubleshooting and answering complex technical queries
  • Ability to develop and manage a network of key decision makers, build territory business plans, set quarterly priorities, and contribute to key account plans
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management software to manage leads, prospects, and sales funnels
  • Strong internal networking skills to collaborate with account management, other sales specialists, field application specialists, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal, scientific support, service sales, and customer support
  • Understanding of global sales policies for the product group

Responsibilities

  • Support all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Resins are sold, providing expert product knowledge, training, and support to Account Managers
  • Generate sales from new and existing customers, primarily focusing on Resin sales and achieving sales targets within the assigned region/territory
  • Contribute information to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team
  • Handle equipment proposals, custom design, and project management according to customer needs
  • Support all Resins products by providing product expertise to Account Managers and independently identifying opportunities
  • Develop sales of modality solutions in the assigned sales region/territory and establish long-lasting technical customer relationships
  • Provide applicative support, including troubleshooting and answering customer queries of a sophisticated technical nature
  • Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets
  • Build a strong internal network to drive synergy and customer satisfaction across the business
  • Work effectively with internal functions to maximize customer satisfaction
